September 17, 2018 -"Preserve the Harvest" presented by Daryl Minch, Family &Community Health Sciences Educator.
October 15, 2018 - "Wildflower Folklore" presented by Debra Reed, naturalist at Hunterdon County Division of Park and Recreation.
November 5, 2018 - "Celebrating Fall Harvest & Making Holiday Decorations " Members will bring photos of gardens, flowers and nature, their favorite recipes, and a dish prepared with ingredients from their garden. We will share recipes and garden stories, and enjoy fruits of our labor. In addition, we will make holiday decorations.
December 10, 2018 at 11:00am - " Holiday celebration" hosted by Bonnie and Family.
January 21, 2019 - "Where Did Your Garden Grow?" presented by Kathleen Podgalsky, horticulturist at the Lenonard J. Buck Garden of the Somerset County Park Commission.
February 18, 2019 - "Edible Plants" presented by Dorothy Smullen, teacher-naturalist at the NJ Audubon Society.
March 18, 2019 - "Healing Power of Plants" presented by Christa Wood, naturalist at the Somerset County Park Commission. (Meeting starts at 1:00pm)
April 22, 2019 - "Planning a Native Butterfly Garden" presented by Christa Wood, naturalist from the Somerset County Park Commission. (Meeting starts at 1:00pm)
May 20, 2019 - "Floral or Planting Teacup Arrangements, Annual luncheon & Installation of Officers" More details will follow.

Thanks for visiting the Washington Valley Garden Club. We are affiliated with the Garden Club of New Jersey, Inc. (District IV-Skylands) ,and are part of the Central Atlantic Region of National Garden Clubs, Inc. Our members are from Somerset, Morris, and Middlesex counties. Our programs, committees, field trips, and community service projects are organized to meet the diverse interests of our members. We have just celebrated Seventy-one years of gardening.

Our meetings are held September through June at the Bridgewater Township Library, typically on the third Monday of the month, although subject to change based on the library schedule. The library is located at the corner of North Bridge Street and Vogt Drive, Bridgewater, NJ. We meet in one of the meeting rooms on the right, just after you enter the library.
